Primary Purpose:
The main purpose of the Campus Director is to ensure the effective educational delivery to all students on campus. The Campus Director will effectively onboard and retain students through the implementation and management of quality customer service, quality instructional delivery, career placement systems and procedures. The role will be focused on supporting the success of international students studying in programs delivered as part of an educational partnership.
The Campus Director will support the vision, mission, and values of triOS College while contributing to a positive, supportive and student-focused team environment of respect, integrity, dedication and readiness; embracing diversity and fostering inclusion.
Key Responsibilities:
- Hire and train direct reports.
- Ensure that direct reports are adequately skilled and equipped to perform their duties.
- Ensure that education, physical, social, and special needs of students are met wherever possible.
- Ensure that students are accessing support services, both on campus and with community partners.
- Manage instructor scheduling and professional development.
- Audity the quality of classroom instruction.
- Ensure positive working relationship and regular reporting to international student educatino partner.
- Work with education partner to coordinate student enrollments, course changes, grades, and other student information.
- Ensure that student support services are running effectively.
- Recommend and implement systems, policies, and procedures that promote operational efficiency.
- Ensure adherence with the Quality Assurance Framework.
- Ensure compliances of the Ontario Private Career Colleges Act and any other regulations or laws impinging upon school operations.
- Establish and maintain the profitability of the campus as a profit centre.
- Maintain the established campus expense budget, and seek apporval for any exceptional expenditures.
- Attend scheduled meetings wiht other Executives, Directors and/or other Management.
- Oversee coordination and administration of KPI surveys, and submit KPI survey results.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Some post-secondary education, college diploma in business or technology, university degree preferred or the equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Five (5) years combined management and administrative experience ideally in a comparable educational environment.
- Understanding of current business and management practice.
- Knowledge of sales and customer service issues.
- Experience working with accounting, budgeting and financial statements.
- Knowledge of information technology, specifically networking, office applications and programming.
- Knowledge of career training vocations and programs.
- Knowledge of government regulatory climate of education in Ontario.
- Knowledge of instructional techniques (teaching experience is an asset).
Hours of Work:
This is a full-time position. Hours of work will be 8am-5pm, Monday to Friday.
