Description
The Janitor maintains the cleanliness of the facility in compliance with applicable standards.
HOURS:
- Casual/On-Call.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Ensure the general upkeep of the facility such as cleaning floors, washrooms, kitchenettes, handwashing stations, windows, dusting, collects and disposes of garbage & recycling, vacuums.
- Check, clean, move, arrange, and dust furniture and furnishings as required.
- Report safety concerns and repair issues (e.g., furniture and fixtures).
- Restock washrooms, handwashing stations, sanitizing stations, and report when supplies are getting low.
- Perform other related duties as required.
QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS:

Education/Certifications:
- High school graduate.
- WHMIS training certificate.
Experience:
- One year of experience in a janitorial or similar related position.
Successful candidates, prior to hiring, may be required to provide:
- Background check consent.
- A clear vulnerable sector screening.
- Clean drivers abstract.
- Completion of our online Armatus Abuse Training and required Health and Safety training.
