At CERIC, our goal as a charitable organization is advancing education and research in career development, in order to increase the economic and social well-being of Canadians. You’ll join a small, passionate group working in a fast-paced environment to fund projects that develop innovative career development resources, host Canada’s largest bilingual career development conference, and publish the country’s only peer-reviewed journal in the career field. We offer a positive work environment (in a unique co-location space at Foundation House in Toronto when we are once again in-person) and a culture that supports healthy balance as well as professional development.
This is a remote role initially while lockdowns and restrictions are still in effect for Toronto, but once these restrictions are lifted, the incumbent is expected to work from our offices. It requires that the individual have a reliable computer, good internet access and a dedicated (quiet) workspace for the period of working remotely.
As the leading Canadian organization to support education and research in career counselling and career development, CERIC is committed to provide a collaborative work environment grounded in respect for diversity of lived experience and opinion and recognizes the many ways that leadership is demonstrated through the skills and abilities of its staff and volunteers.
