The franchised Wingate by Wyndham location in Calgary, Alberta is seeking a Front Desk Agent (Franchise) to join its team at the Wingate by Wyndham Calgary Airport.
The Role
A Front Desk Agent plays a critical role in a hotel’s operations, as they are often the first point of contact for guests. Their responsibilities encompass a wide range of duties focused on providing excellent customer service and ensuring smooth operations at the front desk.
What you’ll do

Performs check in and check out

Drive the shuttle

Take and manage reservations over the phone, via email, and through online booking systems

Update the reservation system with accurate guest details, preferences, and special requests

Address guest inquiries and provide information about the hotel, local attractions, and services

Resolve guest complaints and escalate issues to the appropriate department when necessary

Liaise with housekeeping, maintenance, and other departments to ensure guest needs are met promptly

Ensure the safety and security of guests by following hotel procedures for key control and emergency situations

Required Qualifications/Experience

High school diploma or equivalent (required)

Previous experience in a customer service role, preferably in hospitality (preferred)

Knowledge of hotel operations and reservation systems (a plus)
