HUMAN RESOURCES BUSINESS ANALYST
With approximately 3,300 employees, JBS Food Canada ULC (-JBS Canada-) is one of Canada’s largest beef processors. Consisting of four locations-the main processing facility located in Brooks, Alberta, where approximately 4,200 head of cattle are harvested and processed daily; the Head Office and a case ready plant, both based in Calgary, Alberta; and JBS Ontario, a case ready plant located in Belleville, Ontario. The JBS Canada facility in Brooks has the capacity to produce products ranging from boxed beef primal, ground beef, beef trimmings, beef by-products and hides which are shipped across Canada and worldwide. At the multi-protein Mountain Creek Farms case-ready facility in Calgary, JBS Canada produces value-added products including marinated, portion sized, multi-pack options, kebabs and much more. JBS Ontario in Belleville produces fresh meat and seafood products for leading retailers in Canada.

QUALIFICATIONS:
-
Bachelor’s Degree or 2-year Diploma in Business, IT, HR or equivalent experience required;

Excellent language and communication skills;
-
Ability to interpret and implement company policies and procedures;
-
Computer proficiency, including effective working knowledge of MS Word, Excel, Outlook;
-
Experience working in SAP is required
-
High level of critical thinking, logical thinking and analysis and/or reasoning to identify underlying principles, reasons or facts;

Ability to work efficiently, independently or as part of a team;

Perform well under pressure and meet deadlines;

Good organizational, time management and prioritizing skills;

Experience working with large data sets to source, clean and analyze data to understand trends and monitor execution of HR processes;

Knowledge in SAP is considered an asset.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
-
Communicate professionally with all levels of personnel via phone, e-mail and written correspondence;
-
Accurately complete data entry, reporting and updating/creating spreadsheets;
-
Daily filing and administrative duties ;
-
Provide advanced reporting, analysis and insights, including but not limited to turn-over, staffing, operational performance with HR-related administrative processes related to hiring, staffing, and servicing associates, HR and Managers (people leaders);

Participates in the monthly Headcount reconciliation process, partnering and consulting with Senior HR Leaders, engaging Finance and supporting the Executive Leadership Team to ensure effective communication and execution;

Draft surveys or other data-gathering measures;
-
Supports the development, maintenance, and enhancement of programs along with system conversions, upgrades, and business acquisitions;

Clean data to eliminate any errors and create more meaningful analyses;
-
Use findings to develop meaningful conclusions;
-
Prepare clear, readable reports of findings;
-
Discuss recommendations with HR supervisors based on findings;
-
Collaborate in the development of policies and training programs to target data conclusions;
-
Ensure employee compliance with organization policies based on data-informed evidence;
-
Assist HR employees with data-informed aspects of employee compensation, benefits or training;
-
Review an organization’s revenue and other financial data to determine compensation updates;
-
Proactively identifies opportunities and specific recommendations to improve analytical reporting and capabilities.
