Hiring Unit:
Facilities Management & Ancillary Services
 

Position Summary:

  • Assist with administrative tasks. i.e. pre-screening candidates.
  • Clearing terminated employee files from our shared drive.
  • Review and file employee files.
  • Maintain a organizational system for filing confidential paper copies.
  • Answer basic questions pertaining to how to best access files.
  • Validating employee information in Workday and completing necessary follow ups.
  • The list of functions outlined above is representative and not a complete and detailed list of tasks which may be performed by an incumbent.
     

Qualifications:

Applicants currently enrolled in a Human Resources-related undergraduate program are preferred. English and French, spoken and written.

“Knowledge of French and English: McGill University is an English-language university where day to day duties may require English communication both verbally and in writing. The level of English required for this position has been assessed at a level # 3 on a scale of 0-4.”

Minimum Education and Experience:

DEP – Office Systems 2 Years Related Experience / DEP – Secretarial Studies

Annual Salary:

(MPEX Grade 01A) $46,350.00 – $51,500.00 – $59,230.00

33.75 (Full time)
