ABOUT THE ROLE:

Are you passionate about driving the business and achieving sales through partnering with our in-store teams to provide service and support? As the Manager, Sales & Education, Sephora Collection, East, you are responsible for growing Sephora Collection brand love and new client acquisition! You’ll do this through a detailed analysis of your business, demonstrating education and training, thoughtfully planned in-store events, and brand representation in store and field-based activations. Join the team and become an expert pertaining to brand essence, product knowledge, inventory, and brand merchandising!

WHAT YOU’LL DO:

  • Develop a strategic quarterly business plan to grow sales based on the region’s performance and individual store needs while analyzing sales reports to improve strategies
  • Implement customized in-store strategies to improve sales and other key performance indicators through partnership with cross-functional teams and partners
  • Facilitate daily trainings to introduce, educate and inspire on new product launches, reinforce core products while integrating selling skills, services, and additional brand or company initiatives in brand trainings
  • Establish and develop relationships with in-store teams and leaders and collaborate with store leadership for visual placements
  • Partner with Sephora Collection Field Leaders, Merchants, and business partners to share in store brand opportunities and observations that directly impact brand sales
  • Create and maintain all scheduling calendars, provide effective management of T&E and budget, ensure reporting sales, expenses, and other requests are completed in a timely manner
  • Plan the use of freelance hours to improve business impact and results while staying within allocated budget and support freelance support staff with coaching and feedback

WHAT YOU’LL BRING:

  • 3-5 years of current education experience or comparable store leadership experience in a retail environment
  • You love solving problems and using your analytical skills to find creative solutions while being resourceful and taking initiative to support the overall field team
  • Great at expressing yourself clearly and creatively, with expertise in Zoom, video conferencing, and social media skills for presentation and training purposes
  • You are adaptable with handling ambiguity in uncertain situations
  • You excel in a fast paced environment and enjoy working collaboratively with cross-functional teams while balancing multiple priorities efficiently
  • You are tech savvy and proficient in Microsoft Office and Apple technology
  • You’re game for travel – up to 80% travel required to stores, within North America, and internationally; must possess a valid driver’s license
  • You are flexible to work evenings/weekends for education, training, events, sales support, and brand activations; if able – you can stand, walk, and move around 4-6 hours daily and lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
