We are looking for a Manager of UI/UX to join Global Wealth Management Technology (GWMT) – where we develop and modernize technology that powers the Global Wealth Management business lines. GWMT consists of many departments with high-performing agile teams working closely to deliver, support, and maintain the many applications and ecosystems within Global Wealth.

Is this role right for you? In this role you will:

  • Drive strategy to enhance user interfaces and experiences across platforms using the latest design tools and methodologies that best support business needs.

  • Incorporate modern UI/UX practices to enhance user experience, while ensuring the compliance with key local regulations.

  • Oversee the support and continuous improvement of critical user interfaces, building strong relationships with key business and technical partners.

  • Collaborate closely with engineering to ensure seamless implementation of designs, while adhering to any system / process constraints.

  • Oversee the delivery of high-quality, performant, and reliable UI/UX designs by implementing user testing, usability studies, and iterative design processes.

  • Effectively manage a team of UI/UX professionals by setting performance expectations, monitoring performance, driving accountability, and providing design guidance and coaching.

  • Manage the intake and backlog of requests from multiple business lines and drive delivery on a value-based, priority driven manner.

  • Manage relationships with business and technology leadership, ensuring effective communication at all levels and the ability to promote design ideas and gain consensus.

Do you have the skills that will enable you to succeed in this role? We’d love to work with you if you have:

  • 5+ years of UI/UX design experience and 3+ years leading and building high-performing teams.

  • Experience delivering products in an Agile environment.

  • Proven track record in delivering large-scale multi-year projects/program.

  • Ability to lead and motivate teams on tight deadlines.

  • Ability to quickly adapt and build a deep knowledge of their team’s deliverables and design processes to craft a strong user experience.

  • Ability to build and execute on a strategic roadmap by ruthlessly prioritizing value-added work.

  • Have a continuous improvement mindset and be willing to lead by example.

  • Strong communication skills – will be speaking with Stakeholders, Business Partners, Operation Teams, and Developers (translating conversations into requirements)  

  • Proficiency in Key Tools an Asset:

  • Design (Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD)

  • Workflow Mapping (ex. Microsoft Visio)

  • Productivity Tools (ex. MS Excel, PowerPoint, Word)

  • Collaboration (ex. JIRA / Confluence)
