Job Information and Responsibilities
Under the direct supervision of the Director Payroll, Technology Solutions and Analytics, the Payroll Administrator:
- Prepares student/casual/part-time/full-time payroll for a population of over 2000.
- Provides excellent customer service to both internal and external customers by email, phone, in person and virtually.
- Works collaboratively with other Human Resources employees to ensure the timely, accurate and effective delivery of Human Resources/Payroll Services.

- Provides excellent customer service.
- Maintains strict confidentiality.
Experience and Education Requirements
To be the successful Payroll Administrator you will have:
- Community college courses equivalent to 1-year post-high school education.
- Payroll Compliance Legislation and Payroll Fundamentals 1 courses, as offered by the National Payroll Institute (required).
- A minimum of 1 year of directly related work experience.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, both oral and written.
- Successful record of teamwork in a high-volume work environment with the ability to handle multiple priorities.
- Excellent computer/keyboarding skills (in both speed and accuracy) using an integrated computerized payroll system, Word, Excel, File Transfer Protocol (FTP) software and Crystal Reports.
- Superior organizational skills and attention to detail.
