Coagulation assays include thrombin generation, pure component assays, fibrinolysis tests, platelet function tests also expect to work on flow-based assay using microfluidics.

As part of your development, you will attend relevant workshops, local research seminars and lab meetings, and will develop contacts within the College and the wider community.

What we are looking for

  • You should hold a PhD (or equivalent) in biology, biotechnology, or a closely related discipline. Candidates who have not yet been officially awarded their PhD will be appointed as Research Assistant.
  • You should have experience working in a research laboratory, and have skills with cell culture, flow cytometry, coagulation assay and similar biological techniques. Experience in the field of haemostasis/vascular biology/immunology and APS is beneficial, but training will be provided.
