THE OPPORTUNITY

The Senior Supply Chain Planner will serve as an expert in improving material flow and system accuracy as it pertains to raw material, WIP, and the finished goods in all Galvion facilities.

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING

Reporting to the Supply Chain Senior Director, you will be part of a team of professionals committed to enabling business growth.

YOU WILL BE EVALUATED ON YOUR ABILITY TO

  • Plan the supply of materials/components while optimizing inventory levels.

  • Assess volume requirements.

  • Understand and manage supply chain risks to minimize production schedule impact.

  • Manage the integrity of Bills of Material (BOM’s), lead times and safety stocks.

  • Maintain accurate dates and all levels of the Supply Chain

  • Coordinate material movement between vendors and all Galvion facilities.

  • Assist in the development, implementation, analysis, and coordination of production schedules

  • Contribute to the new ERP implementation and become a super user.

WHAT YOU WILL NEED TO SUCCEED

  • Associates degree required / BS or BA degree is preferred.

  • 8+ years in various supply chain functions

  • Experience in manufacturing environments.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

  • Good interpersonal and communication skills

  • Experience in Microsoft Office:  Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook

  • Solid Experience with ERP and MRP systems. Infor Syteline a plus.

  • Ability to manage multiple projects at one time.
