As a Technical Support Specialist – Circuit Protection, you will be reporting to National Product Manager of the Siemens Canada electrical Products division and will be responsible for providing Level 1 technical support to Siemens clients via phone or email.

• Providing pre and post-sales support for customer inquiries related to the circuit protection portfolio via email or phone.

• Supporting the product managers for Siemens Canada Electrical Products portfolio. 

• Developing product expertise for circuit breakers, safety switches and power monitoring product portfolio. 

• Working closely with construction sales team, order management, quotations, business developers, business unit management and engineering teams.

• Supporting relationships with sales, distribution channels and end customers.

• Keeping current on product lines, overall market needs, CSA-UL-NEMA-IEC Standards.

• Other projects as required. 

What will you need to succeed:

• Degree or diploma in Electrical or related Engineering disciplines.

• 3 to 5 years of experience in electrical distribution industry.

• Strong interpersonal and problem-solving skills.

• Strong communication skills, verbal and written.

• Good organizational skills and ability to learn new technology.

• Experience in circuit breakers and safety switches is highly preferred.

• Fluency in French is a strong asset.
