Grimshaw Public School is an exciting and dynamic school located in the town of Grimshaw, 20 kms west of Peace River. The school serves students from grades K-12. A strong academic program and a full range of athletic programs, supported by the addition of a new community recreation multiplex center, are offered to the Grimshaw Public School students.

One Full-Time (1.00 FTE) Jr. High Physical Education Teacher is required commencing August 25, 2021 and continuing until June 28, 2022. The initial assignment will include Jr. High Physical Education and other subjects as needed.

Qualifications:
Training and/or successful teaching experience in Physical Education and other subjects at the Jr/Sr High level,

A demonstrated commitment to the achievement and success of all learners,

Excellent communication skills with students, staff and parents,

Interest or experience in leading or coordinating an extracurricular activity.

Skills:
Ability to design and implement lessons and learning activities consistent with Universal Design for Learning,

Ability to differentiate instruction and assessment for a wide range of learners,

Ability to use technology to support learning in the classroom,

Ability to work collaboratively within a team setting,

Effective classroom management.
