We are currently looking for a Region Marketing Manager (Canada & Latin America) in the Greater Toronto Area, Ontario

The Region Marketing Manager will champion the retail and experiential marketing needs for Automobili Lamborghini Canada (ALC) and Latin America regions. This role is dedicated to oversee the roll out of marketing campaigns across the designated region and in partnership with the region dealer network. The Region Manager will work closely with the experiential, CRM, brand marketing, sales and public relations teams of Automobili Lamborghini America to ensure a cohesive retail & brand marketing strategy. This role will be responsible for the creation and oversight of all brand, corporate, product and media activations across the Canada and LATAM regions; championing strategies that influence how an audience perceives our brand and its lifestyle on and off track.
Responsible for conceptualizing, planning, and executing retail and experiential programs, as well as managing and analysing the effectiveness and spending of the dealer retail campaigns. This candidate will work individuals at all levels of the dealerships, including the dealer principals, the General Managers and Sales and Marketing personnel to effectively support and map out dealer marketing plans and spend while overseeing all marketing activities at retail level. The role is integral to Lamborghini’s desire to create cohesiveness among the entire network while ensuring that all dealers actively, effectively and according to CI/CD, market the Lamborghini brand and products.
The role must bring out-of-the box thinking, challenge the status quo, and be able to contribute at all levels of the organization, ensuring effectiveness and results, and staying within budget. The candidate will need to work across cultures, and with key stakeholders and partners to ensure success including brand marketing/ PR agencies, creative agency, fleet agency, luxury brand partners, dealerships and customers.

Primary Responsibilities:
Retail Marketing responsibility –50%

  • Point person for all retail marketing initiatives in Canada & LATAM region reporting functionally to the Sr. Director of Marketing and Communication.
  • Plan & execute and analyse retail marketing campaigns and events (corporate and dealer level) to ensure increased leads, sales and loyalty from conception to completion.
  • Collaborate with Lead Retail Marketing Manager in the planning and execution of dealer tours, national tours, marketing campaigns, digital campaigns, and incentive campaigns in concert with HQ’s retail plans.
  • Ensure campaign roll out, effectiveness and buy in from the ALC dealer and sales network.
  • Regularly plan and meet with ALC sales to coordinate sales and marketing activities.
  • Conceptualize, propose, plan, execute and analyse tactical campaigns to support sales and aftersales activities.
  • Review monthly retailer activities providing counsel to retailers regarding sufficiency to meet/exceed Lead targets, and report to Senior Manager when retailers are falling behind in Lead Generation, discuss and develop countermeasures, and then counsel dealers on countermeasures, as necessary.
  • Ensure accurate reporting on lead status.
  • Create opportunities and activities to increase showroom traffic & sales leads (key partnerships).
  • Monitor daily retailer adherence to the Retail Marketing and Communications Policies & Corporate Identity (CICD) standards, counsel retailers on deviations and ensure upload to ACB. Identify and report violations according to procedure.
  • Maintain, monitor and measure allocated dealer marketing budgets.
  • Conduct monthly assessment of sales plan and aftersales plan performance (in collaboration with sales & aftersales dept), conduct monthly alignment sessions with retailers, and counsel retailers regarding MarCom activations to achieve sales and aftersales goals.
  • Ensure Marketing Plans are updated quarterly in LamborghiniKEY and provided to the Dir. of Marketing and Communications and internal stakeholders, with campaign progress and Quantitative results supported by data input.
  • Ensure compliance across dealer network in utilizing all digital and supporting systems such as LamborghiniKEY, ACB Compliance tool, Pre-Owned Locator, and other sales/marketing tools that ALA implements across network.
  • Monitor, suggest and improve dealer marketing capability and efficiencies able to convince dealers that they need to become more effective in their marketing activities.
  • Oversee that CI/CD standards are maintained at dealer level and all corporate activities throughout assigned territory.
  • Oversee and lead the implementation of marketing activities and prospecting / sales / loyalty events at dealer level.
  • Oversee fleet allocation in region and fleet check/inspection process at retailers.
  • Roll out retail programs outlining key objectives for retailers such as (Esperienza Casa, Dealer Tours and Test Drive Campaigns). Ensure all protocols and compliance guidelines are followed as it pertains to (insurance considerations, COI from dealers, risk, legal documents, purchasing requirements, drive waivers).
  • Oversight of dealer invoice collection– all financial reporting pertaining to the region assigned.
  • Compile marketing plans and presentations representative of activation plans and dealer activities in region.
  • You will be the expert regarding your dealer’s use of Lamborghini’s CRM System and other marketing tools, a trainer for Sales, Aftersales, and Marketing with regards to LamborghiniKEY CRM System.
  • Ensure dealer compliance for training.
  • Help dealers reach targets outlined each year including: KEY lead target creation and lead quality, UNICA App registrations and Marketing Spend.

Event & Agency Management – 40% of time

  • Lead retail and marketing programs for the brand from conception to completion across Canada and LATAM region.
  • Lead for experiential marketing agency overseeing all agency projects and timelines – spearheading successful execution of all experiential & digital activities.
  • Spearhead project planning with key stakeholders and vendor partners ensuring compliance, budget timelines and adherence to company policy.
  • Align with the RMMs & retail marketing teams within HQ and ALA, and manage/lead the partner agencies in strategy and oversight for successful execution of activities within budget and achieving all agreed KPIs and targets.
  • Ensure event production/ operational needs run seamlessly for each platform. Portfolio includes, but is not limited to:
  • Car launches / auto shows
  • Accademia – winter and summer
  • Esperienza track events
  • Race activities – Pilota, Super Trofeo, GTD assistance
  • Lifestyle drives
  • Giro
  • Monterey Car Week
  • Institutional events
  • Dealer events, including pre-sale tours
  • Internal sessions – Meetings, conferences
  • Be present on-site at pre-determined events to represent the brand and oversee the program.
  • Ensure experiential activations align with product messages and brand values, and supports company objectives.
  • Design event experiences and maintain inventory of assets in region.
  • Oversee the inventory of marketing assets.
  • Complete, distribute and present finding in post event reporting with a comprehensive analysis of the campaign or event.
  • Ensure market calendars and launch plans are mapped, aligned and up to date.
  • Introduce and oversee marketing partnership opportunities for region.
  • Budget creation, optimizations and management.
  • Establish network of key suppliers and partners in region.

Additional responsibilities 10%

  • Other ad hoc duties as assigned.

Qualifications
What we’re asking for:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Marketing, Communications or related business field preferred
  • 7-10 years of marketing experiential and or retail marketing experience, agency and/or event management and or project & event management.
  • Proven ability to conceptualize, execute and analyze retail campaigns & initiatives in market.
