Responsibilities:
What you’ll do:
As the Manager for supply chain, you’ll be responsible to Manage Central region supply chain performance, Distribution Center, logistics and related activities. Your responsibilities will include:
Develop, promote and manage DC safety action plan. Make sure staff work environment is safe, process and procedures respected and adhered to
Manage, coach, and develop staff. Work with employees to set goals in training and development, performance, and career planning
Oversee daily DC shipping/receiving processes to ensure timely execution and access to materials and products
Work with Marketing, Retail and Procurement teams to implement and align sourcing/distribution strategy
Manage logistics and transportation needs to optimize distribution costs and delivery lead time
Develop and optimize warehouse and inventory management best practices
Organize meetings with Buyers, Inventory Specialist and Regional Admin Coordinators to review KPIs’ performance and define improvement plans
Service level assessment and corrective actions – BO history/MRP parameters
Qualifications:
What it takes:
A. in industrial engineering or administration – specialization in logistics would be an asset.
5-7 years’ experience in managing DC operations and supply chain activities
SAP experience / proficiency and knowledge of SAP WM/EWM, bar coding and TMS experience
Develop skills with MS Office – Excel, Word, Power Point, Access
Good interpersonal and written and oral communication skills
Ability to work under pressure
Assets to have:
Bilingual (English and French)
