Marketing Director, Hematology

Your responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Responsible for key priority brands, you will have strategic and operational responsibility for bringing new innovations to Canadian patients and establishing and evolving the commercial approach including leading the cross-functional team of Medical affairs, Sales, Marketing, and Market Access functions to successfully enable patient access to our products in MPN, new indications and commercialization of pipeline assets.
  • Able to anticipate market trends and evolution in the HealthCare system in order to develop effective solutions to reduce Health Care System barriers thereby enabling patient’s expanded access to Novartis’ hematology therapies
  • Responsible for establishing/achieving ambitious goals and managing P&L
  • Provide effective and inspiring leadership; Build, lead, coach, develop, and retain high-performance team with an emphasis on developing capacity in strategic analysis, operational planning, and optimization of the customer experience

Minimum requirements

What you’ll bring to the role:

  • Bachelors’ or Masters’ degree or equivalent in bioscience, medicine, business and/or economics, MBA is an asset, and sustainable commercial and leadership experience, including 3 years in a management position. English & French.
  • Strong marketing capabilities with extensive evidence of matrix management and securing internal stakeholder resource to add to brand objectives in complex global environment
  • Proven experience in product launch and product commercialization processes
  • In-depth understanding of pharmaceutical market place, including key dynamics, competitors, county regulatory and market environment
  • Solid understanding of design thinking principles and agile team methodology
