Position: 

MENTAL HEALTH & ADDICTIONS CLINICAL COUNSELLOR

Full Time (35 hours per week)

Qualifications:

  • Graduate Degree in relevant discipline, holding an RCC designation preferably RCC or equivalent regulating certification

  • Applicants with an equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered.

  • Experience working collaboratively with youth, preferably in a live-in setting

  • Knowledge of substance abuse and mental health/wellness theories and practices

  • Ability to be flexible and work collaboratively within a dynamic team environment

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

  • Awareness of practices of cultural accountability and diversity

  • Non – restricted Valid driver’s license preferred (driving abstract will be requested).

 

Responsibilities:

  • Provide individual, family and group therapy

  • Attend regular case consultation

  • Assist with regular programming as needed

  • Maintain client files and reports

 

Details:   $30.00- $32.00/hr. salary position, excellent extended health benefits.
