We are looking for an OEM Account Manager to create long-term, trusting relationships with our OEM customers in Canada. The OEM Account Manager role is to develop new business from existing clients and actively seek new sales opportunities with prospective customers.

Your responsibilities

Develop relationships with new OEM customers, and act as Account Manager for existing customers.

For existing customers :
Act as main point of contact for all business matters

Identify growth opportunities, formulate and implement a growth strategy for each account

Create and maintain detailed account plan for each Named-Account

For prospective customers :
Identify and engage with high-potential prospective accounts

Qualify and quantify their potential, formulate and implement a growth strategy for each account

Align with Hitachi ABB Power Grids’ priorities and establish Strategic-Alliances with key OEMs in target verticals

Work closely with the Business-Lines to establish pricing and OEM-support strategies

Manage pipeline and forecast. Generate monthly activity report. Gather and distribute relevant market intelligence.

Manage RFPs and transactional business from each key OEM accounts.

Contribute in sales and frame agreements negotiations.

Engage Hitachi ABB Power Grids’ Sales Agents across Canada for certain sales activities surrounding OEM customers

Ensure appropriate communication, promotion and training activities within the OEM community.

Monitors customer financial status and reports any changes regarding risk to relevant internal partner teams.

Your background
