In this newly created role, the Senior Manager, Brand Marketing will be responsible for bringing our renewed enterprise brand mandate to life. Reporting to the AVP Marketing and supporting the strategic purpose and direction of the Laurentian Bank brand, the Senior Manager will lead all day-to-day aspects of the brand journey, including brand marketing, communications, identity, architecture and governance. He/She would collaborate broadly with internal and external partners, leading cross-enterprise and agency teams in the multi-phased, multi-faceted delivery and implementation of our one brand – one team, customer centered vision.
Responsibilities :

º Guide our unified Laurentian Bank customer-first vision and be a consummate brand champion
º Lead the development and delivery of end-to-end brand initiatives across customer, employee and distribution channel touch-points, elevating our brand and enabling a consistent experience
º Lead all market facing brand initiatives and campaigns, including brand awareness advertising, digital, social and sponsorship marketing efforts
º Lead brand customer research, analyze market and competitive insights and data
º Develop brand guidelines and delivery frameworks for application across our digital, retail and corporate footprint
º Actively contribute to annual planning process, provide input into the Marketing & Brand budget and assume accountability for delivering initiatives within assigned budget.
º Stay abreast with market trends and changes in regulations to ensure brand communications, procedures, projects and practices evolve accordingly.
º Proactively define and track key performance indicators, communicate results, and identify areas for continuous improvement.
º Collaborate widely with cross-enterprise business and channel stakeholders, internal and external partners including Agency teams
º Plan, align and direct all Brand efforts, creating a culture of teamwork to realize and achieve goals and objectives.
Qualifications :
Your background and experience is both broad and deep
º 10 + years of progressive experience in brand management and a proven track record of leading customer centered brand marketing portfolios
º Marketing SME with , digital, social, above the line media and sponsorship experience across strategy, implementation and measurement
º Experience supporting retail, digital and intermediary distribution channels, preferably in financial services
º Creative, strategic thinker with experience managing competitive reviews and market research initiatives along with the ability to translate learnings into actionable insights.
º Proven track record of leading strategic initiatives with excellence in project and budget management
º Excellent leadership, people management and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with diverse groups and build relationships successfully,
º Confident and efficient communicator and presenter, comfortable presenting to senior leadership
º University Degree in a related field.
º Flexible and agile, able to work in a highly dynamic environment.
º Bilingual (French/English) verbal and written communication skills are assets
