About the faculty: Faculty of Education
The Faculty of Education, along with its commitment to the promotion, advancement and dissemination of knowledge in the field of education in general, is actively involved in teacher training. Position Purpose:
Coordinates and performs academic and administrative tasks (course schedules, admissibility issues, enrolment, final grades) to support the Program coordinator in planning and managing courses. Aims to maximize the experience for applicants and establish and strengthen relationships and collaboration with external partners. Provides clients, whether students or faculty, information on program courses and administrative procedures
Essential Qualifications:
Knowledge of administration usually acquired through postsecondary studies and at least 3 years’ experience in a similar role. (bachelor’s in education an asset)
Knowledge of postsecondary education programs and academic regulations
Knowledge and experience regarding interpreting, communicating and applying policies and procedures
Experience in researching and analyzing data to create administrative and statistical reports
Experience in problem-solving and decision-making
Experience in customer service
Experience using Microsoft 365 (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc.), the internet and integrated databases
Ability to deal with conflicting priorities and meet strict deadlines in a fast-paced work environment
Organizational and analytical skills, excellent judgment and attention to detail
Strong sense of professional ethics
Bilingualism — French and English (spoken and written).
