Job Description:
The incumbent provides a wide range of administrative, communications and clerical support to the Dean, Faculty, chairs and staff of the School of Hospitality and Tourism Department. The employee maintains a current knowledge of appropriate college and academic policies, processes and procedures in an effort to assure efficiency and integrity of the school. Serves as primary point of operational and administrative contact for internal and external constituencies related to departmental student affairs. The incumbent may work with complex and confidential issues. He/she assists in the in the coordination, of special projects and events.
Required Qualifications:
Minimum two (2) year diploma in Office Administration/Business;
Minimum three (3) years’ experience in a related field with a minimum of one (1) year in a customer service role;
Database management knowledge;
Proficiency MS Office software Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint;
Customer Service skills;
Familiar with PeopleSoft, Genesis and Workday.
