Job description

DUTIES OF THE ASSISTANT BRANCH MANAGER:

  • Report directly to the Branch Manager.
  • Provide support to our advisors with integration, training, administration, operation, and compliance.
  • Supervise activities of our advisors by performing daily duties and responsibilities related to the supervision of account activity.
  • * Ensure that the business conducted is in compliance with applicable securities legislation and the MFDA By-laws and Rules and and/or Insurance council of B.C.
  • Require to complete annual onsite review with advisors which require some travel time.
  • Approve and supervise the opening of new accounts and supervise the sales and trading activity.
  • Handle client accounts as outlined by Dealer’s policies and procedures, by applicable securities legislation and by the provincial regulatory authorities and/or insurance council of B.C.
  • Require to attend all role related webinar, workshop and training and also require to complete continuous education to maintain licensing.

Expected start date: 2021-09-01

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Salary: $45,000.00-$60,000.00 per year

COVID-19 considerations:
Currently its all remote, so no meeting advisor till restriction is lifted.

Experience:

  • Univeris: 1 year (preferred)
  • Branch Manager: 1 year (preferred)

Language:

  • Mandarin or Cantonese Speaking (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

  • Mutual Funds and/or Insurance License Require (required)

Willingness to travel:

  • 25% (preferred)
