Job Information
The Beaufort Delta Education Council actively promotes:

Candidates must have completed of a Bachelor of Education Degree and be eligible
for a Northwest Territories Teaching Certificate.
The following criteria will be important considerations in the hiring process:
- Strong Background in literacy development and intervention
- Strong background in Elementary Education and Play-Based Education
- Recent teaching experience in a JK-Grade 6 environment
- Excellent classroom management skills
- Knowledge of, or willingness to become familiar with, the prescribed NWT Curricula
- Training in Literacy and Numeracy
- Experience in multi-grade classrooms using Differentiated Instruction
- Understanding of and experience in the integration of technology into classroom
instruction
- Strong working background in Elementary teaching particularly in a Northern
environment
