DUTIES:
Reporting to the Haileybury Campus Manager, the incumbent provides support to Campus Services and Student Services in the coordination of services/events. The successful incumbent will:

Plan for non-academic events and assist with some academic functions/duties in a clerical capacity;

Establishes and guides the Graduation Student Committee. Organizes the graduation ceremonies and ensures all related elements are coordinated and in place as required (gowns, caterers, speakers, certificates/diplomas, decorations, staff, etc.);

Directs and answers inquiries via telephone, fax or email;

Promotes and organizes various campus services and activities including arranging staff involvement; and

Act as the central point of contact for inquiries regarding external facilities and the coordination of services related to the rental of facilities.

Qualifications

QUALIFICATIONS:
The incumbent will possess the following qualifications:
2-year Diploma in Office Administration/Business Studies;

Minimum 2 years’ experience in an office environment;

Experience with multiple tasks and working under minimal supervision;

Experience dealing with confidential information;

Computer skills including Microsoft Office Suite; and

Experience with event planning is an asset.

The incumbent may be required to provide a criminal reference check.
