Employment Standards is looking for a proactive, innovative and knowledgeable person to develop and deliver services to increase awareness of rights and responsibilities under The Saskatchewan Employment Act and The Foreign Worker Recruitment and Immigration Services Act. Reporting to the Director, Programs and Policy, you will be one of two consultants within the Education and Training Unit.
This role requires careful and proactive analysis of the learning needs of employees, employers, foreign nationals, and immigration consultants and recruiters, as well as internal stakeholders. Your expertise in adult learning best practices, instructional design, and public education be used to plan, design, develop, coordinate, and deliver online, in-person, web-based, and written educational services. Your strong research practices and conceptual thinking will ensure your social marketing advice and direction is current and founded on best practices and technical subject matter. Your experience with learning evaluation will help you decide which services to improve. Your background in developing strong partnerships and working relationships will ensure you know the diverse learning needs of your clients so you can tailor your learning strategies and approaches.
To qualify, candidates must have demonstrated knowledge and experience in the assessment of learning needs, creation, and delivery of a variety of learning resources, measurement and evaluation. Knowledge is gained by a degree in adult education, marketing, business communications, or English. Experience with improvement, service delivery and collaborative consultation is also essential.
