Your opportunity:
Reporting to the Director, Recruitment and Admissions, theRecruitment and Admissions Officer is crucial to the efficient and effective recruitment and admission of candidates for the Master of Financial (MFin) and Graduate Diploma in Professional Accounting (GDipPA)
Early and highly personalized communication with prospective students is fundamental to recruitment and the Recruitment & Admissions Officer will play a pivotal role in supporting this process as well as tracking results. The successful incumbent will collaborate with the Assistant Directorin the execution of the recruitment and admissions strategies for these programs. The Recruitment and Admissions Officer is also responsible for maintaining candidate applications in the application database and ensuring accurate reporting of candidate information.
Your responsibilities will include:
Providing detailed information regarding admission requirements to prospective students and applicants
Develops and implements personalized programs to maintain and build relationships with candidates throughout the recruitment and admissions cycles
Fostering positive relationships with prospective students through effective and timely communication
Assisting with the organizing and executing of events focused on attracting and engaging candidates and future students
Preparing statistics and tracking trends on the various facets of the recruitment and admissions process
Prepares the admissions files and undertakes responsibility for data and document management throughout the recruitment and admissions cycle
Analyses data which is used to continually improve our outreach and admissions activities
Essential Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree in marketing, communications or related field or acceptable combination of equivalent experience.
Minimum four years related experience in recruitment, admissions, sales or marketing environment.
Experience writing marketing correspondence and preparing presentations
Experience with tasks requiring attention to detail and good organizational skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are required
Demonstrated superior customer service skills
Superior organizational skills with the ability to work well under pressure and meet competing priorities and deadlines
Strong knowledge of computer software; experience in Word, Excel, PowerPoint and other related software
Knowledge of and experience with database management is desirable
Assets (Nonessential):
Knowledge of ROSI
Ability to communicate in one or more languages other than English.

Pay Scale Group & Hiring Zone:
USW Pay Band 12 – $69,730 with an annual step progression to a maximum of $89,172. Pay scale and job class assignment is subject to determination pursuant to the Job Evaluation/Pay Equity Maintenance Protocol.
