Job Description

McCreary Centre Society is a not-for-profit committed to improving the health of BC youth through research, evaluation, and youth engagement projects. The Society sponsors and promotes a wide range of activities and research to identify and address the health needs of young people in the province.

McCreary Centre Society is looking for a summer student with an interest in youth health to: work virtually with a staff mentor as part of a team to conduct a literature review and prepare a community report of the findings, and to identify relevant survey questions for the 2023 BC Adolescent Health Survey data.

Skills and Experience:

  • Interest in youth health
  • Experience conducting literature reviews
  • Basic statistical skills
  • Able to work independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Good organizational skills
  • Flexible and adaptable

Requirements:To be considered for the position you must:

  • Be between 15 and 30 years of age
  • Be legally entitled to work in Canada

The Position:

  • Hours of work: 35 per week
  • $19 per hour
  • Start Date: ASAP for 8 weeks

Position will remain open until filled
