Economic research, including data compilation, analysis and report writing.
Qualifications
Recent university graduate from a masters or undergraduate economics program
Highly numerate with strong Excel background
Excellent writing and oral communication skills
Well-organized with careful attention to detail
Previous research experience greatly valued
Knowledge of the Atlantic Canadian economy is an asset
This is a remote-working opportunity. The candidate must have access to a reliable personal computer, high speed Internet, and the ability to videoconference via Zoom or MS Teams.
Duration
June 1 to August 13, 2021 (approximately 13 weeks), 37.5 hours per week.
Wage rate
$21-25/hour depending on qualifications and relevant research experience
