Position Summary:
- Responsible for the management, maintenance, or control of a specialized area. This may include in-scope supervision of other team members, managing research projects as well as ensuring that as technologies and directives change, the team adapts to and learns the new techniques. The incumbent may support other research projects by providing knowledge, skills, and on-the-job training to others. This position works closely with the Principal Investigator in areas of protocol development, standard operating protocol development, development of research projects and proposals, contribute to and assist in submitting research grants proposals.
- Provide analytical support to serosurvey investigators in low- and middle-income countries conducting the WHO-supported Unity serosurveys. This will involve: building a pipeline for reproducible data cleaning, survey data analysis, and reporting, and working closely with serosurvey investigators in these countries to pilot this pipeline.
- Build on SeroTracker’s existing database to meta-analyze findings from serosurveys worldwide, mapping the true extent of COVID-19 immunity and understanding how it varies by age, sex, and region. This will involve: building a reproducible meta-analysis and reporting pipeline, reporting to WHO Headquarters and Regional Offices, and supporting manuscript preparation.
