The Victoria Faulkner Women’s Centre is seeking a consultant to support the development of our Human Resources and Operations structure, policies and procedures.

The goal of this project is to complete a review of our current organizational structure, HR policies and procedures, provide recommendations, and support the implementation of those recommendations towards:

Explore options for non or semi-hierarchical operating structures that bring to life the values of anti-racism, anti-oppression, diversity, feminism and decolonization.

Creating a functional, efficient, and clear organizational structure with defined roles and responsibilities.

Update all job descriptions to reflect the work the team does and reflect a more efficient organizational structure.

Review and update our payscale, job classifications, and compensation framework to ensure we are an employer of choice within the NGO community in Yukon.

Update and create new HR policies and procedures to ensure all recruitment, onboarding, review, and termination processes meet the Employment Standards Act, and are clear and easy to follow for all team members. Ensure the policies also reflect the VFWC values of diversity, feminism and anti-oppression.

Preference will be given to firms that operate with female identifying staff members or owners.

Deadline for Application is Monday April 19, 2021.

The successful firm or individual will be selected by April 30th with work to commence starting May 1, 2021.
