You will provide administration and user support for Salesforce at Ivey Publishing. Under the direction of the Manager, Business Systems, you will be responsible for configuring and maintaining Salesforce and, using your proven Business Analyst skills, you will enhance operational efficiency and deliver a positive customer and user experience to Ivey Publishing operations, which include internal stakeholders and world-wide external users. As the internal expert within Ivey Publishing, your knowledge and expertise enables you to guide, train, and mentor those in the department on the effective use of Salesforce. You possess a strong understanding of cloud-based business applications, extensive experience with data management and reporting, and the ability to manage multiple projects.

What you’ll do:
Contributes to and participates in the development of a Salesforce strategy/roadmap by maintaining a holistic view of all business processes and users in the system to ensure all solutions work towards a desired future state, including identifying opportunities for improvements.
Writes business cases, defines requirements, designs solution, and coordinates/performs quality assurance testing.
Conducts business process review, evaluation, research and analysis in order to identify and recommend performance and process solutions, including new AppExchange apps, plug-ins and related tools; plans and executes implementation of approved solutions, including training, documentation and ongoing support.
Facilitates change management, including documentation and training for Salesforce users on new features.
Interact with department staff and managers to support and increase user adoption, including developing and delivering training, and bringing forward project opportunities that promote operational efficiency and improvement.
Maintains profiles, roles, users, security settings, sharing rules, etc.; troubleshoots and provides support on any user issues.
Supports data and data integrity, including updates, diagnosing causes of inaccuracies, and proposing solutions for correction and prevention.
Supports and executes report and dashboard creation, enhancement, and training.
Evaluates and reviews new releases by Salesforce and communicates possible impacts to Ivey Publishing.
Supports and maintains third party apps that work in conjunction with, feed data into, or use data from Salesforce (e.g. FormAssembly).
Creates and manages custom objects, fields, formulas, validation rules, workflows and processes.
Partners with Ivey IT, where required, to identify and resolve integration issues.
What you have:
Required Education and Experience:
Successful completion of a University Degree in a related field
Minimum of 5-6 years in a role involving Salesforce support and/or administration
Salesforce Administrator Certification preferred
Skills and Abilities:

Ability to understand business requirements and convert them into technical solution designs, reports, dashboards
Experience with Salesforce Lightning Interface required
Experience with Commerce Cloud is an asset
Experience with FormAssembly is an asset
Experience with data migration and integration

Position Type: This is a full-time (35-hours/week) 3-year renewable contract with full benefits.
Typical Hiring Range: Based on the salary band for this role, external candidates can expect to be offered a starting salary in the range of $73,500- $91,900. When determining salary we consider the market, candidate experience, as well as internal equity. Once in the role, successful candidates will have the opportunity to progress through the range and beyond the hiring range of the band, through annual increases. The maximum salary for this band is approximately 20% higher than the top end of the hiring range.
