Job Description

The Job

A McDonald’s Shift Manager is responsible for providing leadership to Crew and other Manager’s during their shift to ensure Guest demand is captured and great Quality, Service, Cleanliness and Value (QSC&V) is delivered to our Guest.

Shift Managers plan for each shift, run informative energetic shift huddles, energize and motivate the team, monitor the safety, security, performance, and profitability of the restaurant, and meet the guest demand while ensuring that the team exceeds McDonald’s standards. Shift Managers are also responsible for meeting targets during their shifts and helping their assigned departments meet its goals.

Qualifications

The successful candidate will possess the following skills:
Previous experience in a supervisory role within the Quick Service Restaurant industry.

Strong communication, leadership, time management, organizational and multi-tasking skills.

A deep desire to create and maintain a guest-centric atmosphere, upholding our promise of delivering Quality, Service, Cleanliness and Value (QSC&V) to our guests.

The ability to work as part of a driven, high-performance team.

Driven to teach, coach and assist others in reaching their goals.

Act as a role model within the restaurant, upholding and promoting a diverse and inclusive culture.

The successful candidate will be available to work a variety of hours, including overnights, evenings, mornings and weekends as this restaurant operates 24 hours.
