Position Details
The University of Lethbridge Faculty of Fine Arts is accepting applications for a full-time, temporary Student Experiences Coordinator (Programming Specialist II) commencing May 15, 2021 and ending June 30, 2022.
This position supports undergraduate and graduate students to find personal and professional success during each stage as a Faculty of Fine Arts student. The Student Experiences Coordinator supports scholarships and awards and student experiential opportunities. Priorities surround the creation of a professional, positive, supportive, and student-focused environment, where future and current students can find specialized resources for their academic and professional development.
Reporting to the Associate Dean of Fine Arts, this position will connect with current and prospective undergraduate and graduate students by providing specialized supports and mentorship opportunities. This position is also dedicated to the administration of Fine Arts scholarships and awards.
Hiring range: $5,149.00 – $5,828.00 per month
Position Qualifications
- College diploma, undergraduate degree would be an asset, or equivalent combination of years of experience and education
- Excellent customer service skills
- Experience working with students from diverse backgrounds
- Ability to build a positive relationship and manage a network of connections
- Strong organizational, and problem-solving skills
- Proven ability to learn and work independently
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Attention to detail and proven ability to managing multiple competing priorities
