Summer Program Coordinator

The VOBOC Foundation is a not-for-profit charitable organization with their office located in Pointe-Claire. VOBOC works with oncology teams to help empower newly diagnosed adolescent and young adult (AYA) cancer patients by providing them with tools, resources and connecting them to essential support services to help them navigate through their cancer experience.

VOBOC is seeking enthusiastic students, who are fluently bilingual (written and spoken), creative and passionate about VOBOC’s mission. This opportunity is ideal for students wishing to understand the needs of adolescents and young adults with cancer and for those who would like to make a difference in the lives of these young patients.

The Programs and Admin Coordinator will assist the program team with administrative tasks, program management and delivery, and operational improvements. Will also assist with volunteer recruitment, coordination of virtual fundraisers, and community outreach. Must have a minimum of two years post-secondary schooling, MS Office (Excel) proficiency, strong organizational skills, and an eye for detail. Previous volunteering experience would be an asset.

Contract length: 14 weeks

Part-time hours: 17.5 per week
