Territory Manager – Barrie/Muskoka Region

POSITION SUMMARY:
The Territory Manager will be responsible for driving new sales from new and existing customers in the Barrie/Muskoka region. This individual will also be responsible for gaining new customers in line with regional strategy and sector growth plans and providing preventative maintenance, emergency service and install support as needed within territory. The Territory Manager will also be responsible for developing Distributor relations at assigned Warewash/Laundry accounts.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Implement the sales funnel in Salesforce.com

Manage territory expense budget provided by GBB

Execute support plan for global and national accounts within sales territory as needed

Deliver financial performance for sales Territory

Develop margin improvement plans for Territory

Provide input to innovation development funnel

Provide forecast input to District Manager for assigned distributors and accounts

Engage and train key customer teams within Territory

Assist sectors on national program roll outs

Launch new products and promotions to assigned end user accounts

End user sales calls with sector teams

building disinfection protocols and brand protection

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
High School diploma or G.E.D. required

Valid Driver’s License with a clean driving record

Ability to lift objects up to 35lbs and execute precise work with hands in limited spaces

Computer technology experience – Email, Excel, Word, Google Applications, Cell Apps, iMAP

Ability to work nights and weekends as determined by business need

Plumbing and/or electricity skills preferred

ADDITIONAL QUALIFICATIONS:
B2B sales experience is strongly preferred

Distribution expertise is a plus

Technical support skills for Ware Washing and Laundry systems

Floor care experience

Technical equipment maintenance experience is a plus

Ability to use hand tools

Professional attitude and be self-motivated/directed

Documented time management, communication skills, decision making, interpersonal, computer and organizational skills

Ability to work cross functionally to achieve company goals

Strong business acumen and customer focused

Strong negotiating skills and results orientated

Ability to manage and measure work as well as planning

Energetic and passionate and able to influence others
