E2 Adventures is a non-profit organization specialized in designing field trips and other experiential learning opportunities that bring the curriculum to life, including LiveSTEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts and Mathematics). Since 2016, we have created cross-disciplinary field trip experiences with over 100 partners including Google, Bombardier, NVIDIA, Air Canada, and McGill University, with the intention of developing students into world-class innovators, critical thinkers, and problem solvers.

About the Role:
Reporting to the Executive Director, you will be responsible for providing technical support to the LiveSTEAM Virtual Experience, utilizing Open Broadcasting System (OBS) and our YouTube channels, as part of a team of other passionate and multi-disciplined Experiential Learning Technologists.
Responsibilities:
- Set up, monitor, and maintain the LiveSTEAM virtual experience broadcast
- Monitor broadcast quality of live and pre-recorded programs, audio and video
- Operate broadcast equipment to produce audio and video streaming broadcasts for the LiveSTEAM events
- Curate on-screen visuals and coordinate with live production team
- Provide real-time troubleshooting, with implemented back up procedures in place in case of signal failure
- Maintain, install and troubleshoot a variety of broadcast hardware and software
- Set up and operate consoles to pick up and select feed sources from different locations and to coordinate their live streaming.
- Provide technical support to other systems, and post-production facilitation
- Assist with and perform system upgrades, configurations or modifications
- Assist in installation and commissioning of technical solutions
- Maintain, troubleshoot, test broadcast equipment and systems
- Maintain documentation, present new documented solutions to the team
- Assist in day-to-day operations, as required
- Participate and support your team members in finding solutions to complex problems
- Support the team by completing any other duties assigned
- Able to work a modified work schedule within a 24/7 continuous operation
What We Need From You:
- Working experience with Open Broadcasting System (OBS)
- Experience in supporting Apple, Windows and other systems
- Knowledge of broadcast systems, media processes and post-production
- Ability to propose technical solutions and implement alternative methods
- Collaborative skills
- Ability to work in a dynamic environment, supporting in real-time
- Ability to pivot according to changing priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Self-motivated and thrives working in a team environment
- Able to accommodate shift work and on-call emergencies as required
- Strong communication skills (written and verbal)
- Able to work effectively with users in a broadcast environment and understand their requirements
- Working knowledge in French
Schedule Requirements:
We have LiveSTEAM Virtual Tours scheduled for broadcast. The new team member would be required to work 8:00am-11:30am on the following dates:
