About the role
The Principal Coordinator is responsible for working with candidates, hiring managers and recruiters throughout the recruitment life cycle; interview scheduling, employment checks, onboarding, and more.
Responsibilities:
- Partner with recruiters to ensure clear and sound execution of the interviewing and hiring process
- Serve as primary scheduling contact for candidates and internal clients
- Negotiate times and schedules to finalize candidate interviews
- Build and maintain strong relationships with senior managers, executive assistants and administrative professionals
- Manage confidential files and other privileged information in a professional manner
- Oversee travel details and communications between candidates, recruiters and our travel partner
- Prepare various materials, reports and files for interviews and consensus meetings
- Support management of relevant departmental data systems, including candidate tracking database, budget tracking, associate sign-up, decision-making tools and ad-hoc reporting requests
- Willingness to work flexible hours due to varying needs within the recruiting organization
- Monitor and reply to candidate and recruiter inquiries via phone and email
- Work with candidate to finalize start date
- Effectively sell and represent Capital One as a top employer
- Other duties as assigned
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree or College Diploma
- At least 1 year of Administrative experience
Preferred Qualifications:
- At least 1 year of Human Resources experience
- At least 1 year of Google Suite experience
