We are looking to hire a Charity Administrator. Ideal candidate will have experience working in the charitable space and have exceptional customer service and administrative skills. Job Description:
- Answer calls, e-forms and live chats from potential donors
- Respond to email inquiries within a timely fashion
- Have the ability to answer inquiries, provide quotes and close the donation
- Coordinate pickup of vehicles with our tow scheduler or directly with the tow truck company
- Input, update and manage accurate Excel spreadsheets
- Manage the customer – from first point of contact, through to close including thank you emails
- Prepare monthly tax receipts for donors
- Work closely with Executive Director
- Other duties as they may arise
You must:
- Have minimum 1+ years experience working for a foundation or charity
- Have exceptional customer service skills
- Be able to take a donor from query to close
- Experience working with donors and/or customers
- Have demonstratable proficiency in Excel
- Superior written English communication and written skills
- Strong organizational skills
- Self starter
- Position can be partially in office and partially home based
