Cars 2 End Racism is a subsidiary of Homeless Cars, a registered Canadian charitable foundation dedicated to helping end racism through the proceeds of donated vehicles. We are looking to hire a Charity Administrator. Ideal candidate will have experience working in the charitable space and have exceptional customer service and administrative skills. Job Description:

  • Answer calls, e-forms and live chats from potential donors
  • Respond to email inquiries within a timely fashion
  • Have the ability to answer inquiries, provide quotes and close the donation 
  • Coordinate pickup of vehicles with our tow scheduler or directly with the tow truck company
  • Input, update and manage accurate Excel spreadsheets 
  • Manage the customer – from first point of contact, through to close including thank you emails
  • Prepare monthly tax receipts for donors 
  • Work closely with Executive Director 
  • Other duties as they may arise

You must:

  • Have minimum 1+ years experience working for a foundation or charity
  • Have exceptional customer service skills
  • Be able to take a donor from query to close                                                          
  • Experience working with donors and/or customers     
  • Have demonstratable proficiency in Excel
  • Superior written English communication and written skills
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Self starter 
  • Position can be partially in office and partially home based
