Opportunity Summary:
You will work as part of the CXM Global Professional Services team. Reporting to the Manager, Project Management Services, the Project Manager works with CXM customers to successfully deploy Upland CXM solutions. This will include documenting requirements, implementing the required functionality, facilitating all change management, and communicating all timelines and project plans. Typical engagements include new client onboardings, platform enhancement change requests, and ongoing retainer programs across all products in the CXM business unit.
Primary Responsibilities:

• Drive excellence in Project Management
• Responsible for the successful delivery of projects
• Lead the planning, scheduling and implementation of projects and maintain these throughout delivery
• Facilitate the definition of project scope, goals, and deliverables
• Define project tasks and resource requirements
• Assemble and coordinate project staff
• Manage project budget and resource allocation
• Track project deliverables using appropriate tools
• Monitor and report on progress of the project to all stakeholders
• Provide direction and support to project team
• Quality assurance
• Present reports defining project progress, problems, and solutions
• Implement and manage project changes and interventions to achieve project outputs
• Identify risks and proactively manage issues. Resolve and/or escalate issues in a timely manner
• Monitoring and adherence to project success measures
• Achievement of billable utilization targets
• Follow Upland CXM Project Processes
• Work with US and UK teams to promote services offerings, and improve delivery

Key relationships:

• Reporting to Manager, Project Management Services
• Management of Technical Consultancy, Creative Design, Development and Training team members as part of project team
• Work with Customer Success Managers and New Business to understand client requirements and scope new projects

Skills & knowledge

• A self-starter, who can take ownership of multiple tasks/situations and act on their own initiative, a natural problem solver
• Proven Project Management skills
• Knows how to get the best out of people, has a sense of humor
• Excellent communication skills, whether dealing with marketers, techies, designers, or directors
• Technically literate
• Extremely organized and responsive. Excellent time management.

• Commercially aware
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint

Experience

• At least 4-5 years digital project management experience, gained in a SaaS, digital agency, or Email Service Provider (ESP) environment
• Demonstrable portfolio of digital/email projects delivered as a Project Manager
• Familiar with project methodologies such as PRINCE2, APM, Agile
• Experience of using SaaS, Email, CMS, CDP, Ecommerce platforms and web analytics
