Overview

International Soccer Club (ISC) is a Not for Profit Soccer Club established in Mississauga in 2007.

The ISC is affiliate Member of the City of Mississauga, sanctioned member of the Ontario Soccer

Association and The Peel Halton Soccer Association to operate as a Youth Recreation and

Competitive Soccer Club in Mississauga.

The ISC is looking to fulfill the Part Time Position of Technical Director with A or B License. Reporting

to the General Manager, the successful candidates shall be conducting the following:

Scope:

  • Review and Upgrade the Current Technical Training Program for the Recreation, the

Competitive and the High-Performance Programs and align it with the Club strategic Objectives.

  • Recruitment, Training, Development and Evaluation of Coaching and Volunteers.
  • Manage the day to day Coaching Operation of all Club programs including but not limited to; the

day to day operations, quality of practices, tryouts, player selection process, retention process of

Development and competitive players.

  • Establish structured mid-season player evaluations and try-outs.
  • Promote the ongoing Professional Development of all Coaches. Create a culture of on-going

Coach Education Report submitted to the BOD Quarterly.

  • Knowledge of the Canadian Soccer and the Ontario Soccer Landscape and the opportunities it

presents to ISC.

  • Monitor compliance of Club curriculum with Canada Soccer Pathway guidelines.
  • Create a fully integrated Coach and Player Development process within the current programs.
  • Managing technical budgets and associated cost management and reporting.
  • Participate in upgrading the current Business Plan as well as applying for the necessary

credentials within the Club strategic Objectives.

Qualification

  • National A or B Soccer Coaching License or international equivalent, National A would be

preferred.

  • University, College graduate with/and/or sports-related degree with equivalent experience would

be an asset.

  • Technical Director Diploma would be an an asset.
  • Clean police Check
  • Successful track record of Coaching Experience
  • Excellent communication and organization skills
  • Experience in managing remote locations
  • Excellent time management skills
  • Excellent people skills

Package:
This is a Part-time position with an Attractive Annual Base Salary based on Experience plus
