Description
Under general supervision, the Admin Clerk will enter and verify a variety of data in appropriate formats. The BC Youth Department uses a camp booking software called Camp Brain for individuals to register to attend our two summer camps in British Columbia. These camp databases will be merged, and the data cleaned up, duplicates removed, and information updated in anticipation of the 2022 summer camping season. This is a temporary, contract position to allow for the completion of this project. In addition, the Admin Clerk may perform general office/clerical duties.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Data entry, additions and removals within Camp Brain (camp booking software)
- Organize electronic data and file management
- Performs routine office/clerical duties (e.g., stuffing envelopes, photocopying, filing)
- Performs other duties as assigned
QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS:
- High school completion
Experience:
- No previous experience required
Required Skills/Knowledge:
- A general working knowledge of computers, and ability to conduct data entry and clean-up in a database and spreadsheets
PREFERRED SKILLS/CAPABILITIES:
- Organized
- Ability to work independently
Successful candidates, prior to hiring, may be required to provide:
- Background check consent.
- A clear vulnerable sector screening.
- A clean drivers abstract.
- Completion of our online Armatus Abuse Training and required Health and Safety training.
