The Area Director will be responsible for all Branch operations including business development through developing strong client relationships, human resources, budget and finance, quality management, information systems, and the integration of directives from our National Office.

This progressive-thinking and innovative Area Director will be key in developing strategic plans and initiatives that will ensure that every client is satisfied with the excellent service they receive from Bayshore employees. This in turn will be critical in helping the North Shore Branch meet its goals and financial objectives.

What you’ll be doing:
When someone describes a leader, they are describing you. You will be providing direction and leadership to all Branch Office Operations and Staff

Build and Develop a high performing team that is working together to drive results and you empower the staff to live Bayshore’ s Mission, Vision and Values

Every idea you put forward is focused on how Bayshore can continuously improve its services to our clients and community

You understand the bottom line, that is why you set and maintain the utilization targets of the Branch. Including monitoring and adjusting the plan as necessary to ensure the financial goals are achieved

You deliver the Bayshore difference by focusing on the needs of our client and ensuring their care is delivered in accordance with company requirements

Skills you already have:
Bachelor’s degree in Business or health-related discipline

You like the challenge of managing the development of a healthcare business, ideally within home care

Passionate about leading and developing high performing teams

Proven expertise in business development, service operation and financial management

You are patient and client centered. Keeping our clients in mind is what motivates you to be creative and innovative in building solutions

Working in a fast paced entrepreneurial setting is second nature to you

You consider yourself a strong communicator and are comfortable engaging with various stakeholders within the company

Job Qualification

Education

Completion of a Bachelor’s degree in Business or a health-related discipline; the Area Director must have a solid knowledge of the principles, practices and methods of business development, operations, service delivery, financial management and control, program development, implementation and evaluation, and human resources practices.

Experience

At least five years of progressively responsible recent experience in management, two of which were at a supervisory level and preferably in a health care setting; strong track record in leading the development and integration of profitable business and marketing plans; demonstrated ability to handle all aspects of human resources and oversee information systems.

Other Skills and Abilities

Exceptional interpersonal skills and decision-making skills; ability to handle difficult situations in an objective consistent format; strong entrepreneurial and marketing skills; ability to work independently and effectively lead a team; demonstrated knowledge of personal computers and related software such as Windows and payroll/billing systems; commitment to continual learning; above average report writing and communication skills; valid driver’s license and willingness to undertake out-of-town travel as required
