MaMook Natural Resources is authorized by the Province of British Columbia to operate Tree Farm License (TFL) 54 and 57 which covers nearly 49,700 hectares located on the west side of Vancouver Island in the Clayoquot Sound region near Tofino and Ucluelet. The varied landscape of Clayoquot Sound consists of mountains, valleys, ocean inlets, lakes, rivers, islands and forests. The forests are predominantly old-growth forests comprised of western redcedar, western hemlock, and amabilis fir.

The Opportunity

We are accepting resumes for the position of Harvesting Supervisor to oversee forestry management operations within our tenures. This position requires a Registered Forest Technologist (RFT) or Registered Professional Forester (RPF) to oversee timber development, waste & residue assessments, and associated reporting. This is a part-time contract position and reports to the Chief Executive Officer.

Preferred Qualifications

· RFT or RPF.

· Timber Development experience.

· Road and Block Layout and CP application experience.

· BC scaling knowledge.

· Waste & Residue survey experience

· BC Coastal experience, preferably in a contractor setting.

· Knowledgeable with Clayoquot Sound Scientific Panel Report and Recommendations.

· You are able to supervise contractors, work independently and within a team environment.

· Detail to action and results orientated.
