Chief Executive Officer

Boys and Girls Clubs (BGC) in communities across Canada have been helping young people to discover, develop and achieve their best potential as they grow to become Canada’s future adults, citizens and leaders by engaging them in activities that challenge and help them develop healthy minds and bodies.

BGC Greater Halifax officially opened its doors on April 1st, 2016. The organization is the result of the merger of previously independently run Clubs in East Dartmouth, North Dartmouth, Sackville, Spryfield and Cole Harbour communities. These sites boast a combined total of 100 years of service within their respective neighbourhoods. BGC Greater Halifax offers a diverse and dynamic range of programs that serve children and youth from a broad spectrum of backgrounds and neighbourhoods. Helping more than 4,100 kids annually, BGC Greater Halifax provides safe, supportive spaces where children and youth can experience new opportunities, overcome barriers, build positive relationships, and develop confidence and skills for life.

BGC Greater Halifax is seeking a dynamic new Chief Executive Officer (CEO) to lead the organization and champion its mission to provide a safe, supportive place where children and youth can experience new opportunities, overcome barriers, build positive relationships and develop confidence and skills for life.
