The Creative Director for Ministry Strategy & Resource will ensure consistency of vision and strategy for ministry to next generations, continuing to build upon reCalibrate principles and ensuring departmental initiatives and projects align with and contribute to resourcing towards making CHRIST-centred, OTHERS-focused disciples, with its undergirding filter.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
This position has accountability in the following five areas of responsibility:
Project Management
- Ensure consistency of vision and strategy for all projects and initiatives that come out of the CANBDA department.
- Ensure projects/initiatives build upon reCalibrate principles
Implementation of a Creative Development process
- Oversee and implement a Creative Development Process for new ideas, projects and updates undertaken by the department, and/or its team members, including collaborative efforts with other departments.
- Organize, lead and facilitate team creative meetings.
- Oversee and manage project development
Leadership Training and Development
- Develop and initiate leadership training opportunities and retreats for those working with youth, children and their families
- Develop online and in person training sessions,
- Speak at local/divisional and Territorial training events.
- Develop and implement a children, youth and family seminar for CFOT
- Facilitate @theREADY / Orange Orientation, being a ministry support to corps and divisions.
Champion the @theready framework across the Territory
- Ensure the integration of READY@HOME family strategy into all areas of ministry resource development.
- Work with DC&YS to ensure @theready framework is embedded in all aspects of children and youth programing across the territory.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of @theREADY Assessment & Coaching across the territory in collaboration with (but not limited to) the Secretary for Spiritual Life Development and DYSs.
- In collaboration with the TYS and Secretary for Spiritual Life Development, regularly evaluate the @theREADY Discipleship Framework, ensuring relevance and effectiveness of resources found on the framework.
Resource Development
- Contribute to resource and program creation and development (i.e. special events, camps, territorial resources, etc.)
- Oversee Deeper Orange and contribute to resource development.
QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS:
- Completion of a university degree program in a relevant specialized area consisting of 4 academic years
- Degree in Youth Ministry, Theology, Christian Education, or similar field of study
- Minimum 5+ years Children and Youth Programing and Leadership experience
