Our Infrastructure Advisory practice is growing rapidly. We are looking for distinguished leaders committed to partnering with clients as the trusted advisors of choice on major infrastructure project financial and procurement advisory services across Canada. Our group is comprised of a multidisciplinary team of professionals, advising public and private sector clients on a wide variety of infrastructure projects. Our professionals’ broad range of expertise across many sectors, projects, deals and transactions provides the opportunity to advise clients on a great diversity of projects.

As a Director you will contribute to the strategic direction and leadership of the business as a member of the Infrastructure Advisory leadership team. You will also demonstrate leadership in the industry, and actively improve Colliers Project Leaders’ Infrastructure Advisory profile. You will be expected to identify, securing and delivering assignments, manage client relationships and satisfaction, excellence in delivery, and profitability on engagements.

Responsibilities:
Who you are:
As a Director you will help to develop the Advisory team and lead the implementation, management, growth and continuous improvement of advisory services across a broad range of specializations including:

Leading engagements across various infrastructure sectors and advising clients through the development and delivery of feasibility studies, procurement options analyses, Public Private Partnerships (PPP) / Alternative Financing and Procurement (AFP) case development, transaction structuring, and market research

Strong emphasis on financial analysis and modelling of infrastructure projects, with a deep understanding of project finance fundamentals

Responsible for the management of challenging assignments in accordance with Colliers Project Leaders’ high delivery standards, including managing a small team to these standards

Oversee the identification and conversion of opportunities in order to further grow our business

Qualifications:
What you’ll need to be successful

Minimum 7 years’ experience leading client engagements gained in an Advisory or Professional services organization

Strong drive to develop business efforts on behalf of the Infrastrcture Advisory Business Unit

A broad consulting skill set including strong presentation and stakeholder facilitation, business case and report writing, organizational and analytical skills

Financial and commercial acumen, familiarity with complex financial models and a deep understanding of capital project development

Ability to adapt emerging best practices and industry innovations to client needs

Strong organizational skills creating the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously

Specific Requirements

Demonstrated client engagement and business development capabilities and experience, and a proven track record for business development and experience identifying opportunities for future business growth in the P3 advisory sector

A demonstrated portfolio of work experience leading client engagements within the infrastructure sector

Proven leadership capabilities and working with a multi-disciplinary team

Demonstrated initiative and ability to communicate and effectively engage with a diverse group of clients at the senior management, executive and board level

Ability to travel within Canada and abroad, as necessary

Ability to obtain Government of Canada security clearance
