In this role, you will:
Lead the Canadian nuclear business to win and deliver new work including business development, capture, operations, and project delivery activities.
Using Babcock Canada and Cavendish Nuclear existing capabilities, ensure an effective and efficient operational business model, including business development, operations, engineering, and quality is in place to deliver the nuclear business strategy
Collaborate with executive management in the development of performance goals and long-term strategic plans to support operational efficiency and increased productivity
Liaise with customers to build and strengthen business-to-business relationships within the Canadian Nuclear sector
Manage the development of proposal, pricing, commercial, teaming, and bid strategies for assigned key capture opportunities
Manage multi-disciplinary teams to develop winning proposals in response to customer management, technical and cost requirements.
Developing talent in line with the Company succession planning and talent management processes

As our ideal candidate,
You have 12+ years’ experience in the Civil Nuclear Sector, Canadian experience is preferred
You hold a post-secondary degree in an Engineering Discipline or other related field
You have a minimum of 10 years’ experience in Nuclear Engineering Project Delivery
You have 10 years’ experience in a leadership role, managing, motivating, and leading multi-disciplinary teams
You have 5 years’ experience in Business Development and/or Capture Management
You demonstrate an in depth understanding of the procurement methodologies in civil nuclear and experience working with both Federal and Commercial clients; knowledgeable of procurement program requirements and processes
You have a sound understanding of partnering and alliancing between government, the utilities and supply chain
You have significant commercial experience with the ability to think innovatively in dealing with contract management.
You will have exceptional verbal and written communication skills, and the ability to build long lasting and profitable business relationships with internal and external stakeholders
You are a proven exemplary leader
