As the Fleet Maintenance Manager you will be responsible to provide technical support, data analysis, fleet reporting and maintenance recommendations for customer fleets.

Job Description:
Manage Vital Information Management System (VIMS) data and work with Condition Based Monitoring program (CBM) to monitor trends affecting component or machine life

Investigate all major component failures, review /analyze downtime reports and provide recommendations on process/operational improvements to extend component and undercarriage life

Participate in scheduled Customer/Finning meetings

Perform fleet inspections on a regularly scheduled basis, analyze inspection information and provide recommendations for maintenance or repair activities

Ensure information for guarantee reconciliations and VIMS data are accurate and current

Responsible for thorough analysis of investigations and trend monitoring to ensure optimal recommendations on process and operational improvements

Ensure analysis and maintenance/repair recommendations are provided to appropriate groups in a timely manner

Represent the company in a professional and ethical manner and maintain effective relationships with internal departments and staff as well as customers while maintaining confidentiality

Qualifications:
3 to 5 years Heavy Duty Equipment mechanical experience

Fleet or Project Management experience preferred

Strong organizational skills

Excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills

Work well under pressure and with minimal supervision

Strong analytical and problem solving skills

Caterpillar equipment knowledge (primarily 789, 793 & 797 trucks, large track type tractors)

Mining background and mechanical aptitude

Strong understanding of CBM, VIMS, PMRL/CVRI Payload Management

Proficient with MS Office applications
