Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications: • Applicants must have or be eligible to
hold a PEI Teacher’s License; preference will be given to those with
Major in English and/or Social Studies; • Experience teaching at the High School level;• Experience with StudentsAchieve(SAS);• Knowledge and experience with modifications to curriculum;• Knowledge of effective assessment strategies;• Knowledge of the school level curriculum;• Extensive training in technology applications;• Good classroom management and organizational skills;• Knowledge and experience with effective teaching strategies;• Effective oral and written communication skills with students, parents and colleagues;• Able to demonstrate teamwork and collaborative practices• Demonstrated commitment to on-going learning and school community.The following would be considered assets: • Experience working in the Retail industry;• Experience with EAL students and families.Note:
